Who is eligible for GAHT at True Phoenix?
True Phoenix provides Gender-Affirming Hormone Therapy (GAHT) for adults 19 and older. To determine eligibility, all new patients must complete an initial consultation, where we assess medical history, discuss treatment goals, and ensure that GAHT is a safe and appropriate option for you. We do not provide GAHT for individuals under 19.
Do you offer virtual visits for GAHT?
Yes! True Phoenix offers both in-office and virtual visits for GAHT patients. Virtual visits are a great option for those who prefer remote care, as long as they reside in one of the states we service. Some appointments, such as initial consultations or lab testing, may require an in-person visit depending on individual needs.
Can I transfer my GAHT care from another provider to True Phoenix?
Yes, we accept GAHT transfers, but all new patients must complete an initial consultation before we can continue treatment. During this visit, our provider will review your current hormone regimen, medical history, and lab work to ensure a smooth transition into our care.
What medications are used in GAHT?
For feminizing therapy, we may prescribe estrogen and anti-androgens. For masculinizing therapy, we typically prescribe testosterone.
Will my GAHT visit and medical information be confidential?
Yes! All GAHT visits and medical records are strictly confidential. True Phoenix follows HIPAA regulations to protect your personal health information. We do not disclose any details of your treatment without your written consent.
Do you offer consultations for STI or PrEP/PEP?
Yes, we offer consultations for STI Testing and Treatment and PrEP/PEP. The cost for these services is $179.
